Nayara Resorts - Virtuoso - is a collection of three luxury properties set over 62 acres of Costa Rican rainforest overlooking the Arenal Volcano, the world's third most active volcano. A three hour drive from either the airports of San José or Liberia and only 30 min on a small plane.

Surrounded by lush greenery and wildlife, Nayara Springs, Nayara Gardens, and Nayara Tented Camp are connected to one another by footbridges, allowing guests to enjoy all the restaurants, spas, pools, and activities each resort has to offer either by walking from one place to another or with the resorts golf carts.

From the private terraces that overlook the imposing Arenal Volcano across each property, guests can spy toucans and humming birds or make friends with the sociable macaws that call Nayara home.

The whole property has been deemed a sloth sanctuary ever since they planted over 300 Cecropia trees (the sloth's main food source), which has attracted more than 15 sloths to call the area home. With the new Tented Camp, that number will rise to 1,000 trees. Our guides lead nature walks through the sanctuary using their keen eye to point out these friendly and sedentary creatures in the trees.

The Arenal Volcano National Park which is a short 40 min ride away is host to one of the world's highest concentrations of tropical plants and wildlife, and guests are invited to book horseback riding, river rafting, ziplining, and more through the concierge service of the resort (although in high season it is recommended to book in advance).

Nayara Tented Camp - LHW - Nayara Tented Camp opened on December 2019, with 29 luxury tents, each made up of a master suite and en-suite bathroom (as well as a double indoor and double outdoor shower) plus two 2m x 80cm daybeds (ideal for families) that can also be arranged as two lounge areas. Each tent sits on its own platform furnished with an outdoor living area and a plunge pool filled from nearby hot springs. Fourteen of the tents will mirror each other with the option to connect two tents via a passageway, perfect for families visiting during school holidays. The remaining tents are standalone units, offering a private couple's getaway. The property also counts with 6 family tents for up to 6 people with a similar tent to the one described but with one day bed and another tent on the same platform with 2 queen size beds with its private bathroom, both sharing a terrace with a plunge pool. And not to forget the 2 residences for up to 12 people with a butler. The residences include a kitchen and dining area as well as the equivalent of 2 luxury tents and 2 tents with queen size beds and a bathroom, with 2 plunge pools in one platform, but it can be divided into a family tent and half a residence. Six medium size pools with different temperatures in the middle of the rainforest are available to all guests. The rest of the facilities consists of a fresh water pool with an integrated bar, 6 outdoor spring water pools, a delicious restaurant and magnificent SPA.

Nayara Springs - R&C - The five star award winning, adults-only resort of the group, Nayara Springs, consists of 35 luxury villas tucked into the gardens; each one equipped with a private plunge pool fed by mineral hot springs and a private garden and terrace with a double-head outdoor shower. Those who want to disconnect can try a Volcanic Mud treatment at the open-air spa and take daily morning yoga classes on the pavilion (cantilevered over the rainforest). And those who want a little extra boost can take classes at the espresso bar, Mi Cafecito – learning the process of bean-to-cup (with a personal blend to bring home of course). With two pools and two restaurants guests have many options to enjoy their days and evenings.

Nayara Gardens  - LHW - The family-friendly Nayara Gardens has 50 free-standing villas, two categories, Casita and Rainforest Pool Villas, each with a double indoor and outdoor shower and a private terrace with a plunge pool. Casita can be twin or double and has two day beds for children under 12 years old. Rainforest Pool Villas are only king size beds and can have a rollaway for a child under 12 years old. Nayara Gardens boasts a communal fresh water pool as well as four jacuzzis hidden away in the rainforest and a beautiful SPA, all guests are bound to find their own little piece of heaven on earth. The two restaurants and a wine bar will also enchant guests.
